Task 2
Different types of Learning Styles
· A Learning Style is different types of styles in which people learn. For example if you are a Visual learner you would be able to remember and learn things by seeing things and watching things more than writing stuff down etc.
Active/Reflective
· Active learners tend to retain and understand information best by doing something active with it for example discussing, applying it or explaining it to others.
Sensing/Intuitive
· Sensing learners tend to like learning facts they also often like solving problems by well established methods and dislike complications and surprises. Sensor learners tend to be very patient with details etc.
Visual/Verbal
- Visual learners remember best what they see for example pictures, diagrams, flow charts, time lines, films, and demonstrations.
Sequential/Global
· Sequential learners tend to gain understanding in further steps, each step follows logically from the previous one.
· My preferred learning style would be a Visual learning style system, the reason I have chosen this learning style is because I would gather up more information in my head and remember it if someone was showing and explaining something on a screen/computer etc than someone just telling me about something with out giving a diagram or examples of something.
· Now knowing what my learning style is (Visual) this will help me develop more on my working skills, because now that I know my learning style I will take advantage of that by instead of reading things and trying to get them in my head and remember it I can just go on a website with maybe a video or diagrams explaining the thing I want to know.
Here is a screen shot of my results.
